Music 9am Contemporary Service
"Worship is a journey. Worship is transformation: it changes us. We need to worship. Worship is a celebration of God's mighty deeds of salvation in Jesus Christ. Worship is Triune: It praises the Father, Remembers the work of the Son, Invokes the presence of the Holy Spirit" - Bob Webber

The contemporary music team serves the 9:00 congregation by leading the musical part of worship during the service. Our repertoire comprises a variety of songs: from classic hymns to popular choruses to worship songs.

Music 11am Convergent Service

At St. Alban's church, singing in the choir is a ministry. We have been commissioned by Jesus Christ to "Go and preach the word to all nations". By choosing to sing in the choir, members are declaring their willingness to devote talent, voice and time. We strive to offer our best at all times. The music ministry consists of leading and supporting congregational hymn singing and liturgical responses as well as preparing special choral music. This is indeed an offering and not a performance. The Organ Prelude serves to gather people's thoughts into the presence of God, the Postlude invites us to "go out and serve".
