Yums & Yarns is a relatively new group that’s started up at St. Alban’s following lots of talk among the ladies for a casual evening to socialize and work on crafts.

We meet on a monthly basis at a home in New Edinburgh to work on our projects, chat, and eat chocolate desserts.  There is always a wide range of projects on the go –sewing, knitting, crocheting, organizing pictures, making cards, scrapbooking, darning clothing, or just sitting and perusing through recipe books. We are both young and old.

The evening usually ends with somebody looking at their watch and realizing that it’s almost 11:30pm. Topics tend to naturally flow to childbirth, raising kids, running a home,seeking wisdom in relationships etc. Several of the girls have invited along friends and sisters – many of whom are not acquainted with a church. This is a wonderful little group to meet other women in a very casual setting. We meet on the 4^th Friday of the month from 7:00pm onward. Bring yourself and something yummy to eat… or just yourself,we’d love to treat you!
